For those of you in California, you can find a handy, progressive voting guide for tomorrow at Speak Out California. The most important thing to remember is this: Nix the First Six (No on Props 73, 74, 75, 76, 77, and 78.) Please be sure to get to the polls. We need to stop our Governator's power-grabbing.

I'll surely vote against Ahnuld's propositions tomorrow. Thanks for the reminder.

As I mentioned to you personally, even my Republican mother is fed up, and will join me in opposing the Ahnuld propositions.

Thank you for the reminder! 77 has been the really confusing one, for me anyway. Martha

Hi Rachel and Martha!

It is cool to think of all of us going to the polls tomorrow. Martha, don't let 77 confuse you--just say No! :) (77 would make it much easier for California to turn from a blue state into a red one.)

79 and 80 are the ones that confuse me. They sound very good on the surface, and groups I trust, such as MoveOn.org, recommend voting Yes, but other people in the progressive community who I also trust have told me that while 79 and 80 sound progressive and cool, they are worded in a muddy way that would make it easy for those in power to re-interpret them and use them for their own nefarious purposes. That makes me nervous. I still haven't decided what to do about those 2 yet. I need to do a bit more digging...

Happy voting!
